DBT Auckland specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and offers one on one individual treatment and group therapy programs run by trained professional staff. 

The center offers confidential and effective mental health care programs for those experiencing symptoms of “on the go” lifestyles, such as anxiety, stress, anger management, self-esteem and more. We follow a scientific approach using the latest methods that studies show are the most effective. 

DBT Auckland does not provide psychiatric inpatient, addiction or detox services.

 

Our range of programs includes

Individual DBT Therapy

Treatment plans based on assessment and designed to cover all modules of DBT. Free Initial meeting to discuss therapy options and application to the persons needs.

Relationship Issues

Short, brief therapy to assess deeper issues and to plan further in-depth therapy, covering communication and assertion skills, validation, dignity and respect.

Personal Growth

Small group workshops, scheduled as and when needed, covering anger management, self-esteem, assertion, understanding stress and anxiety.

DBT Therapy Skills Workshops

A course of group workshops covering the key components of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal relationships Visit DBT Workshops

All programs include

  • Free one hour initial consultation and assessment.
  • Comprehensive assessment and personalized treatment planning on admission.
  • Therapy in a one-hour session weekly or as arranged with therapist.
  • CBT, DBT, ACT with licensed therapist specialist.

Fee Update 2026

From Jan 1, 2026, hourly sessions will be $200. Your initial Interview is still free, as it’s vital for building trust and for successful treatment. Existing clients will keep their current rates.

This acknowledges my 20 years of UK experience and proven qualifications, I offer integrated therapy rooted in DBT and enriched by CBT, ACT, and CFT.
